I would like to introduce you to a new post series here at The Fascitorium – my All Time Favorites. This will be an ongoing feature detailing some of my most loved, holy grail and favorite products ever. Let’s kick things off with a product from MAC that I am certain many of you love as well. It is their Mineralize Skin Finish Natural baked powder.
First released as part of MAC’s Avant Gold collection back in 2006, it is a baked powder that provides a light to medium coverage and a soft focus effect on the skin. This multi-functional powder can be worn on it’s own as a setting powder or sprayed with Fix+ and buffed into the skin for more coverage. You can also wear it as an eye shadow and use the darker shades in the range to contour your face.
Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural Dark
I love the way this powder looks on. The tiny baked in minerals give my skin a really subtle and pretty glow without making me look greasy. You can achieve a flawless finish with little effort by buffing it in with a flat top buffing brush. I love using Samantha Champan’s Real Techniques Buffing Brush or my Hakuhodo H2204 Powder Brush for that job.
