Ever since I saw this palette featured in a few of Pixiwoo’s tutorials I have been wanting to get my hands on it. That’s the problem with watching their channel. They use some really amazing products and I always end up lusting after them until they are in my possession. I recently placed an order with PAM (Precious About Makeup) also thanks to Pixowoo’s influence and I noticed that they had this palette in stock so in my basket it went and now it’s here…sitting on my desk smiling up at me.

Louise Young Essential Eye Palette
This is a pretty classy little palette. It contains 5 nicely pigmented and wearable matte colours and can be used to create a great natural or smokier look. I really like the sleek and slim packaging. It is nice and sturdy so this would be a great palette to travel with or to chuck in your makeup bag. My favorite shades are the orange and the darker brown. The orange in particular is just so flattering on me but it is one of those shades that would look great on pretty much anyone. The brush is cute but not really suitable for applying eye shadow… well not on my eyes anyway. I have a lot of space to cover and I reckon the brush is more suitable for a concealer brush.

Ting, Maowi, Pom Pom, Black Bear, Sislet
As you can see from the swatches the colour payoff is very good. Look at how deep Black Bear is and how gorgeously earthly Sislet is!
